AI Models is a browser-based directory for comparing AI models listed on models.dev. It brings context windows, pricing, capabilities, modalities, release dates, and provider availability into one searchable view.

## What you can compare

- Canonical model names, labs, model types, and descriptions.
- Context window and maximum output tokens.
- Input and output prices per 1M tokens, with the lowest and highest provider prices.
- Capabilities: reasoning, tool calling, structured output, attachments, and open weights.
- Input and output modalities.
- Release date, last update, knowledge cutoff, and the number of providers offering each model.

## Search and filters

- Search by model, lab, or provider name.
- Filter by lab, provider, model type, and capabilities.
- Show only models with a free provider tier.
- Sort by recent updates, release date, context size, output size, price, or name.

## Data source and freshness

The catalog is fetched directly from [models.dev](https://models.dev) in your browser. Prices are shown in USD per 1M tokens and may lag the source. Some providers do not publish prices, so a model can have no pricing row.

## Notes

- Provider offers can differ in context limits, pricing, and supported capabilities.
- A free provider tier does not mean the model itself is open weights or unrestricted.
- No account is required, and the page does not store the catalog on a MyBox server.
