> See current weather and the 7-day forecast.

Weather is a location-aware forecast in MyBox. Search for a city, use your current location, or start from an approximate network location, then see current conditions, the next 24 hours, and a seven-day outlook.

## Features

- Current temperature, feels-like temperature, humidity, wind, and rain chance.
- Next 24 hours with hourly temperature and precipitation probability.
- Seven-day forecast with highs, lows, and rain chance.
- Celsius/Fahrenheit and km/h/mph preferences saved in your browser.
- Manual city search, approximate IP-based location, and opt-in browser geolocation.
- Weather is cached for 15 minutes; saved location and units stay in your browser.

## Location and privacy

- On production, MyBox may use an approximate location derived from your IP address. This is city-level and can be wrong when you use a VPN.
- Searching for a city or choosing "Use my location" sends the selected coordinates to Open-Meteo to retrieve the forecast. Reverse geocoding may use BigDataCloud to resolve a place name.
- MyBox does not store your weather location on its servers.
