Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and MyBox ("MyBox", "we", "us"). By accessing or using mybox.id, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use MyBox.

If you use MyBox on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to accept these Terms for that organization.

The service

MyBox is a free, browser-based collection of small apps for radio, music, notes, tasks, bookmarks, utilities, and other everyday tools. Some features are available without an account. An optional account lets you sync supported content across devices.

MyBox also brings in content and services from third parties. We may add, change, or remove features as the service develops.

Accounts and eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use MyBox, or older if the law where you live requires a higher age for digital consent. If you are under 18, use MyBox only with permission from a parent or guardian.

  • You sign in through a supported third-party provider. You authorize us to receive the profile information that provider shares.
  • Keep your provider account secure. You are responsible for activity that happens through your MyBox session.
  • Do not impersonate someone else or choose a username that is misleading, offensive, or infringes another person’s rights. We may reclaim or change a username that violates these Terms.
  • If you believe your session has been compromised, revoke it in Settings and secure your sign-in account.

Your content

You keep ownership of the notes, tasks, bookmarks, favorites, and other content you create or save in MyBox. You give us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, copy, transmit, display, and sync that content only as needed to operate and improve the service. This license ends when you delete the content, except for copies retained in backups or as required by law.

You are responsible for your content and for making sure you have the rights needed to save and sync it. Do not use MyBox to store content that is illegal, infringing, malicious, or that you do not have permission to keep. We do not review every item you save, but we may remove content or restrict access when necessary.

Keep your own copies of anything important. MyBox is a convenience, not a guaranteed backup service.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use MyBox for unlawful, fraudulent, harmful, hateful, or abusive activity;
  • upload or share malware, phishing content, spam, or infringing material;
  • scrape, crawl, or automate the service in a way that imposes an unreasonable load;
  • bypass authentication, probe, scan, or interfere with security features;
  • disrupt the service or interfere with another person’s use of it;
  • resell or redistribute MyBox or its content without permission; or
  • use third-party content in a way that violates that provider’s terms.

We may investigate violations and take reasonable steps to protect the service, including removing content or suspending access.

Third-party content

MyBox includes content and services from third parties, including YouTube videos, radio streams, IPTV channels, news feeds, weather data, and external links. That content is not owned or controlled by us, and we do not guarantee that it is available, accurate, lawful, or appropriate.

Your use of third-party content may be subject to that provider’s terms and privacy policy. For example, YouTube content is also governed by the YouTube Terms of Service and Google’s privacy policy. A link or embed in MyBox does not mean we endorse the provider or its content. Some content may be unavailable in your country or may require a separate account.

Intellectual property

The MyBox name, logo, design, code, and original content are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by applicable laws. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use MyBox for personal, non-commercial purposes.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, scrape, or create derivative works from MyBox except as allowed by law or with our written permission. If you send us feedback, we may use it without restriction or obligation to you.

Availability and changes

MyBox is provided free of charge and on an "as available" basis. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation, and we do not offer a service-level agreement. We may change, suspend, limit, or discontinue any part of MyBox at any time, including for maintenance or security reasons.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The revised version will be posted with a new effective date. If a change is material, we will provide a clearer notice on the site or by email where appropriate. Continued use of MyBox after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.

Termination

You may stop using MyBox at any time. To delete your account and synced content, contact info@mybox.id. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create a security risk, or if we are required to do so by law.

When your access ends, the license you granted us for synced content ends as described in "Your content." Provisions that by their nature should continue after termination, including intellectual property, disclaimers, liability, indemnity, and governing law, will continue to apply.

Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MyBox is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that MyBox will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or free of harmful components.

Content available through MyBox, including news, weather, and third-party media, is for general information and entertainment. It is not professional advice. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MyBox and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, revenue, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of, or inability to use, MyBox or third-party content.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by applicable law, including mandatory consumer rights. Because MyBox is free, you should keep your own copies of important content.

Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend and indemnify MyBox and its operators from claims, losses, and expenses arising from your content, your misuse of the service, or your violation of these Terms, another person’s rights, or applicable law. We will notify you of a covered claim and may participate in or assume the defense.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be handled by the courts of Indonesia, unless mandatory local law gives you another forum.

Before starting a formal dispute, please contact us so we can try to resolve the issue informally. If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will stay in effect.
